Reliance Jio is reportedly in talks with smartphone makers to launch 4G smartphones priced under ₹3,000 in India. With the introduction of these devices, the company aims to speed up the migration of 2G users to 4G, as it looks to reach its 500 million subscriber target.

While there are some 4G smartphones available at low prices in India, Jio could offer more features than the competition in a bid to acquire users.
