The 5G launch is approaching as the spectrum auction has been successfully concluded. Reliance Jio has emerged as the largest spender in the first-ever 5G spectrum by acquiring nearly half of all the airwaves for ₹88,078 crores.Since the launch of the 5G is close, the specifications of the JioPhone 5G have surfaced again by reliable analyst and leaker, Kuba Wojciechowski. New leaks suggest that the JioPhone 5G will be affordable, but the exact figure is not available now.
The leaked firmware suggests that the JioPhone 5G carries a model number LS1654QB5 and has a ‘Ganga’ codename. Moreover, it is confirmed that the device will run on Snapdragon 480 chipset and will feature a 13MP camera.
In 2021, Reliance Jio partnered with Google to launch an Android-powered smartphone at ₹4,499 to shift hundreds of millions of 2G and 3G users to 4G. We could see a similar revolution with aggressive 5G pricing.
JioPhone 5G specifications
The upcoming JioPhone 5G could feature a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel with a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, it will have Snapdragon 480 chipset coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and Android 12 OS.

The JioPhone 5G will come with a dual rear camera setup, 13MP primary and 2MP macro, and LED flash. The device will have an 8MP camera to handle selfies on the front.
Coming to the battery, JioPhone 5G will pack a 5000mAh battery with quick charging capabilities.
