The Realme GT Neo 2 starts at ₹31,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and this variant is priced at ₹35,999.
Display, design
The Realme GT Neo 2 features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus Nord 2 has a smaller 6.43-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate but an AMOLED panel. In terms of design, both the Realme GT Neo 2 and OnePlus Nord 2 feature a punch-hole display and come in three colour options.
The Realme GT Neo 2 features a polycarbonate back with a glossy matte finish. Even though it has a plastic body, the smartphone looks and feels quite premium. The Realme GT Neo 2 has a more striking look as compared to the OnePlus Nord 2. But a smaller display on the Nord 2 also makes for a more handy form factor. That’s not to say that the OnePlus Nord 2 looks bad. In fact, its green colour variant has a leather feel to it.
Processor
Under the hood of the Realme GT Neo 2 runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor. On the OnePlus Nord 2 you get the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Both the chipsets are at par with each other so you shouldn’t see much difference in the performance on either of the phones while gaming or doing any other task.
Battery
The Realme GT Neo 2 packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The smartphone is claimed to offer 33 hours of call time, 88 hours of music playback and eight hours of gaming. The OnePlus Nord 2 has a slightly smaller 4,500mAh battery but with support for 65W fast charging that is claimed to give a day’s power in just 15 minutes.
Cameras
There’s a triple rear camera setup on the Realme GT Neo 2 which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The OnePlus Nord 2 also has a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle camera, and a 2-megapixel mono lens. For selfies, the Realme GT Neo 2 and OnePlus Nord 2 feature a 16-megapixel and 32-megapixel camera, respectively. We have reviewed both the phones and in our camera tests the Nord 2 turned out to be a better performer in both day and low light.
RAM and storage
You can get the Realme GT Neo 2 in two variants of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The OnePlus Nord 2 comes in three configurations of 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The ideal difference between 6GB and 8GB RAM variants isn’t very evident in day to day usage, so if you’re not a very heavy user, saving money with a 6GB Nord 2 might be a good idea.
Colours
There are colour options for the Realme GT Neo 2 - green, blue and black. OnePlus Nord 2 also comes in three colour options of blue, green and grey.
