Realme 5i is all set to launch in India on January 9. Ahead of the launch of the budget smartphone, Realme started teasing its features on its website, as well as Flipkart.

Realme 5i price, features and rumoured specifications

Going by the leaked specifications, you can expect the Realme 5i price to be in the sub-₹10,000 segment.

As far as the features and specifications of the Realme 5i are concerned, the teaser on Realme’s website and Flipkart reveal a few things. According to the teaser, the Realme 5i will come with a massive 5,000mAh battery. This should help the phone last for a couple of days without breaking a sweat.

The Realme 5i will sport a quad camera setup on the back. This setup will consist of a primary camera, an ultra-wide angle camera, a portrait lens and a macro lens. Selfie duties will be handled by a single camera on the front.

Realme 5i will also come with a 6.5-inch display. Realme is calling it “mini-drop fullscreen”, which suggest that the Realme 5i will have a waterdrop notch and thin bezels.

Interestingly enough, Realme Vietnam has confirmed that the Realme 5i will launch on January 6. However, the India launch will take place on January 9, as scheduled.

According to other reports, the Realme 5i could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, which could be paired with 4GB of RAM. It is also said that the Realme 5i’s quad camera setup could include a 12MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP macro lens.
