  • Poco X2 is scheduled to launch on February 4 as a Flipkart exclusive.
  • The device is expected to feature a 120Hz display, Sony IMX 686 sensor and liquid cooling.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi declared Poco an independent brand, which will make its comeback with a new smartphone. And it has kept its promise since Poco X2 will be launched in India on February 4.

Poco has started teasing the Poco X2 on its website and also has a dedicated mobile website that hints about the highlight of the device – a 120Hz display. When a user visits the website using a mobile phone, the website detects the screen refresh rate.

Poco mocks users with 60Hz and 90Hz displays

If you are using a phone with a 60Hz display and visit Poco’s smoothaf website, it shows a message saying – “How does it feel to be on a screen technology almost 2 decades old?”. Users with 90Hz displays are shown the message – “It’s kinda cute that you thought you are smooth and fast all this while.”

This confirms earlier rumours that the Poco X2 may be launched with a 120Hz LCD display. On its website, Poco has mentioned that Poco X2 will feature ‘extreme refresh rate’ for ‘extreme gaming’.

Poco F2 expected features

In addition to the 120Hz display, Poco also revealed that the X2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and feature a Sony IMX 686 sensor. Like the Poco F1, the X2 will also feature liquid cooling support for extended gaming sessions.

Flipkart has also put out a teaser for the Poco X2, suggesting that it will be an exclusive. Going by this teaser, the X2 is expected to feature a waterdrop notch display with a single selfie camera.
