OnePlus Nord 4 with metal back, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 launched in India starting at ₹29,999

OnePlus on Tuesday launched the Nord 4, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in its popular Nord series at an event in Paris. The company also launched the OnePlus Pad 2, Watch 2R and Nord Buds 3 Pro at the event.

The OnePlus Nord 4 has received a major design overhaul, offering a metal unibody design at a time when most companies are jumping towards a glass back. Apart from this, the device has also received a major upgrade to its battery when compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 3.

OnePlus Nord 4 price and availability

The OnePlus Nord 4 is priced at ₹29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant, 32,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant and ₹35,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant. The device comes in Mercurial Silver, Oasis Green and Obsidian Midnight colour options.


The device will go on sale on Amazon India, the OnePlus Online store and the company’s authorised retail stores across the country from August 2.

OnePlus Nord 4 specifications

The OnePlus Nord 4 runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s OxygenOS 14.1 on top. The device will get four years of Android updates and six years of security updates, a new standard, which beats even the more premium OnePlus 12R smartphone.

The OnePlus Nord 4 features a unibody metal design, offering an aluminium back. It comes with a 6.74-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole notch for the selfie camera in the middle.


The OnePlus Nord 4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. It comes in three memory variants – 8GB LPDDR5X RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus Nord 4 features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary camera with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, the device sports a 16MP selfie camera.

The OnePlus Nord 4 is powered by a 5,500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC charging support, which is claimed to charge the device from 1 to 100% in just 28 minutes. The device sports an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.
