OnePlus Nord CE 5G release date, specifications and everything else we know so far

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is launching on June 10, after the success of its predecessor - the original Nord - which was launched last year. This time though, OnePlus could have another model of the Nord for the Indian market, possibly at a more affordable price point.

The second generation of the Nord lineup is the Nord CE 5G (the affordable variant) and we may also see a Nord 2. According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the two phones, by the codenames Ebba (EB2101) and Denniz (DN2101) have been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website – the Indian standards authority.

Both the OnePlus smartphones have been spotted on the BIS website. While OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord CE 5G will be launched on June 10, there is no information about the Nord 2. The launch event will begin at 7 PM.

The OnePlus Ebba with the product code EB2101 could be the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. The OnePlus Denniz with the product DN2101 could be the Nord 2, succeeding the original that was launched in 2020.

According to information spotted in leaks, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G could be powered by the Snapdragon 750G, which supports both 5G and Wi-Fi 6.

According to information revealed by popular tipster OnLeaks, the OnePlus Nord 2 could sport a design that is similar to that of the recent smartphones from the company, like the OnePlus 9 series.

He adds that the Nord 2 could sport a 6.49-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The renders suggest the presence of four cameras, with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle snapper and two 2MP monochrome and macro sensors.

The Nord CE 5G is expected to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back with a 64MP primary camera. On the front, the device is expected to sport a 16MP selfie camera.

To recall, the OnePlus Nord features a 6.44-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset. It comes with up to 12GB of memory and 256GB storage and has a 4,115mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.

Some of these features, like 30W fast charging and a similar capacity battery. Other features should be revealed closer to the launch.
