OnePlus has unveiled three devices in the OnePlus 10 series so far, including the recently launched OnePlus 10T. Now, the company is gearing up to launch its next-gen smartphone, the OnePlus 11 Pro which will be the successor of the OnePlus 10 Pro.
According to a report by Smartprix, the Chinese smartphone maker has started working on the OnePlus 11 Pro, which will be the company’s flagship offering for the next year. The report has also given us our first look at the device, revealing some of the key aspects.
OnePlus had removed the alert slider from some of its recent devices, including the recently launched OnePlus 10T. The alert slider will reportedly make a comeback with the OnePlus 11 Pro.
For those unaware, the alert slider has been one of the most popular features on OnePlus devices and allows users to manage sound profiles just by moving the button.
The renders in the above report have revealed that the device will feature the alert slider.
OnePlus had partnered with popular Swedish camera maker Hasselblad for the OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone. From the renders, it is evident that the company will continue to use Hasselblad cameras again.
The company has redesigned the rear camera module when compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro. The OnePlus 11 Pro will reportedly feature a circular camera module on the left side. The camera module is identical to the one used on the OnePlus 7T, however, instead of placing it in the middle, the OnePlus 11 Pro could feature the module on the left side.
The device is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back and a punch-hole notch for the selfie camera.
There’s still some time for the OnePlus 11 Pro to launch and the leaks are yet to pour in.
While there’s no information about the specifications of the device, we expect the device to feature a Quad HD+ AMOLED display and run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset that is scheduled to be introduced later this year.
In addition to this, the device is expected to be powered by Android 13 with the company’s OxygenOS UI on top.
We should know more about the device in the coming months.
