Carl Pei-led Nothing Technologies on Thursday launched the Phone (2a) Plus, a slight upgrade over the company’s Nothing Phone (2a) smartphone that was launched in March this year.

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus retains the company’s transparent design that was used with the Phone (2a) but offers slightly improved hardware.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus price and availability

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has been launched in two variants. The base variant, with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage has been priced at ₹29,999 and the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage has been priced at ₹31,999.

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is available in two colour options, Black and Grey. The device will be available from Flipkart starting from August 7.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus specifications

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s Nothing OS 2.5 on top. The device will get three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.

The device features the company’s Glyph interface and can be customised using the app. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. It is available in two memory variants – 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Samsung GN9 sensor with OIS and EIS and a secondary 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with Samsung JN1 sensor. On the front, the device features a 50MP selfie camera with the Samsung JN1 sensor.

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support and 5W wireless charging support. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is IP54-rated for water and dust resistance.
