Nothing Phone (2a) India-exclusive Blue Edition launched starting at ₹19,999

Carl Pei-led Nothing Technologies on Monday launched an India-exclusive colour of the Phone (2a), the company’s most affordable offering to date. The company had launched the Phone (2a) in India in March 2024.

The Nothing Phone (2a) was launched in Black and White colour options, just like the Phone (1) and the Phone (2). For the first time, the company has launched a new Blue Edition for its smartphone.

The Nothing Phone (2a) will go on sale starting May 2 at noon. The device will be available at an introductory price starting at ₹19,999 for a single day on Flipkart.

After this, the device will go back to its normal pricing. The device is available in three variants. The base variant, with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage priced at ₹23,999. The mid variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage has been priced at ₹25,999 and the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage has been priced at ₹27,999.

Nothing Phone (2a) Blue Edition specifications

In terms of specifications, there is no change and the device features the same hardware as the other two variants. It runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s Nothing OS 2.5 on top. The device will get three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.

The Nothing Phone (2a) features the company’s Glyph interface and the lighting can be customised using the app. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Phone (2a) is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset. It is available in three memory variants – 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Nothing Phone (2a) features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a secondary 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, the device features a 32MP selfie camera.

The Nothing Phone (2a) is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is IP54-rated for water and dust resistance.
