HMD Global launches Nokia C20 Plus in India, ties up with Jio for offers

- HMD Global plans to launch four more Nokia phones in India.

HMD Global today announced the launch of four new Nokia smartphones in India. The Finnish company has partnered with Reliance Jio for offers that can be availed on the new Nokia phones which include Nokia C01 Plus, Nokia C30, Nokia G10 and Nokia C20 Plus. HMD Global also confirmed that it will soon launch Nokia XR20, its first 5G phone in India. The company also plans to offer an India-specific version of the Nokia C30 with Android 11, according to a Gadgets 360 report.Among the new Nokia phones announced, Nokia C20 Plus can be purchased in India starting today. The company is yet to announce the availability details of the other Nokia smartphones.
Nokia C20 Plus price
Nokia C20 Plus, it starts at Rs 8,999 for the base model with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It also comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and this variant is priced at Rs 9,999. The smartphone is available through the official Nokia India website, Reliance Digital, Jio Point outlets and retail stores.
Nokia-Jio partnership
The partnership between Nokia and Jio will allow the telco’s customers to avail a 10% discount on the Nokia C20 Plus. There are also benefits worth Rs 4,000 for Jio customers.

Nokia C20 Plus specifications
Nokia C20 Plus features a 6.5-inch HD+ display, and it runs on Android 11 (Go edition). The smartphone will receive two years of security updates. It is also said to last for up to two days on a full charge. Nokia C20 Plus is powered by the Unisoc SC9863a processor, and it packs a 4,950mAh battery. It has a dual rear camera setup with an 8-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Nokia C20 Plus houses a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies.
