After Samsung, Nokia to launch its ‘affordable’ triple camera phone exclusively on Amazon

After Samsung, its now Nokia’s turn to launch triple camera phones. The Finnish tech major said that it will launch yet another mid-range smartphone -- Nokia 6.2 in India on 11 October.
Nokia 7.2, the costlier of the two phones in the same series, was launched in India last month. Now, its affordable sibling is on its way. The device has been listed on Amazon India with a ‘Notify Me’ button, and is exclusively for the e-commerce portal. The device is expected to be priced around ₹14,000.
Specifications of Nokia 6.2
The Nokia 6.2 runs on Android 9.0 Pie and is a part of the Android One initiative, which means users will get the stock android experience and the latest updates from Google first.
It features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with a waterdrop notch. It also supports PureDisplay and HDR10 technologies. It has a dedicated Pixelworks visual processor which enables it to upscale video content to HDR in real time.

Nokia 6.2 is powered by the octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. The device will have three variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The internal storage could be expanded to 5,12GB with a microSD card.
Coming to its most-prized camera functions, Nokia 6.2 has a triple camera setup on the back. But it comes without Zeiss optics here. It has a 16-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the Nokia 6.2 has an 8-megapixel camera with Zeiss optics.
The Nokia 6.2 is powered by a 3,500mAh battery. Its connectivity options include a dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
