Apple is gearing up to launch the iPhone SE 2 at a time when its growth is slowing down in several key markets around the world. In spite of the fact that iPhone SE 2 launch is scheduled to launch in 2020, but the rumour mill is picking up steam.

According to a report from noted Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo, the iPhone SE 2 could be priced at $399. He further notes that Apple could offer the iPhone SE 2 in two variants – 64GB and 128GB.

According to Kuo, the iPhone SE 2 could resemble the iPhone 8 to a great extent. For context, the iPhone SE was based on the design of the iPhone 5S.

Kuo has also revealed some other core aspects of the second smartphone in the affordable iPhone SE range. According to him, Apple could beef up the iPhone SE 2 by powering it with its latest A13 Bionic chipset. This will be paired with 3GB of RAM, which is just 1GB less than the RAM in the high-end iPhone 11 series.

If this turns out to be accurate, the iPhone SE 2 could offer a great value for money for Apple fans across the world. With the expected starting starting price, it will be the most affordable iPhone at the time. According to Kuo, Apple plans to sell around 30 million units of iPhone SE 2 in 2020 once it is launched.
