OnePlus 8 series price, sale date, launch offers and more

- The OnePlus 8 series which is being manufactured at the company’s Noida factory will be available by May end.
- The operations were halted due to the nationwide coronavirus lockdown.
- OnePlus has also resumed doorstep repair service and re-opened its service centers.

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 8 series in India on April 14 and the device will soon be available in the country. The device is being manufactured at the company’s Noida factory where the operations were resumed earlier last week.While the device was expected to be available soon after the launch, the nationwide coronavirus lockdown delayed the sales of the device in the country. The OnePlus 8 series will be available in India from May 29.
Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India in a statement to IANS said, “The OnePlus 8 series will be available in the Indian market by May end. We have resumed operations in the Noida facility last week itself in line with the health safety regulations laid out by the government.”
OnePlus resumes doorstep repair service, service centers
The company has also resumed its doorstep repair service across six cities - Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai.
"In addition to this, we have resumed services in our standalone customer service centers in 18 cities as of now, while aligning with the government advisory and guidelines on health safety measures," added Agarwal.

Stressing on its company’s efforts towards the Make in India initiative, Agarwal added, “With our growing business success in the Indian market, OnePlus has been increasingly investing in India in line with its commitment to delve deeper into its ‘Make in India' strategy.”
