Upcoming mobile phone launches in India in February 2022

Oppo has confirmed the launch of its latest Reno 7 series featuring the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro smartphones. Both smartphones have already made their debut in China. The Oppo Reno 7 Pro will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX processor and offer a touch sampling rate up to 1000Hz. It will also offer 65W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. The Oppo Reno 7 series will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and run ColorOS 12 out-of-the-box.

Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 11S smartphone in India on February 9. This will be the second phone from the series after the Redmi Note 11T 5G. The smartphone is confirmed to feature a 108MP camera as part of the quad camera setup at the rear. It will also feature a 90Hz display according to the teasers. More details of the Redmi Note 11T 5G are expected to be revealed soon.

Realme India has teased the launch of the Realme 9 Pro series but it is yet to confirm the launch date. The teaser also doesn’t reveal much about the smartphone series. But leaks and rumours suggest it’s going to be the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+, and the two phones will launch in India sometime in February. The Realme 9 Pro was also recently spotted confirming an electric blue colour and triple rear cameras.

Vivo has teased the launch of a new “performance-driven series” called the “Series T”. It will debut this smartphone series with the launch of Vivo T1 5G on February 9, and it will be exclusively available on Flipkart. The Vivo T1 5G is also claimed to be “the fastest and the slimmest 5G smartphone in the sub 20K category.” More details of the phone are said to be revealed soon.

Samsung is launching the flagship Galaxy S22 series on February 9. This will be the global debut of the Galaxy S22 series and although the sale dates aren’t out, Samsung is expected to launch the phones in India soon. We’re expecting at least three smartphones including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
