HMD today launched the Crest and Crest Max smartphones in India. The company has made its debut in the Indian smartphone market with the launch of the Crest lineup.

The two new smartphones launched by the company support 4G and do not offer 5G support. The devices come with Repairability 1.0, allowing users to easily replace the battery, display, back panel and charging port.

HMD Crest and Crest Max price in India

The HMD Crest is priced at ₹14,499 for the single 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant and comes in Midnight Blue, Royal Pink and Lush Lilac colour options.

On the other hand, the HMD Crest Max is priced at ₹16,499 for the single 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant. The device comes in Aqua Green, Deep Purple and Royal Pink colour options.

Both smartphone will go on sale during the Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale in August.

HMD Crest and Crest Max specifications


The HMD Crest and Crest Max run on Android 14 out of the box and will offer two years of Android updates. The devices feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Both smartphones are powered by the Unisoc T760 chipset. While the Crest smartphone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the Crest Max features 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Crest smartphone features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, the device sports a 50MP selfie camera.

The HMD Crest Max features a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device sports a 50MP selfie camera.

Both smartphones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
