Google last month confirmed it will launch the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones.

There’s no official release date yet but Google is expected to launch the Pixel 6 series in September end or October.

The Google Pixel 6 series will feature a new design with a thick camera bump and a punch-hole selfie camera. The Pixel 6 Pro will come in a polished aluminium frame, and the Pixel 6 in a matte aluminium finish.

The Google Pixel 6 series will come in five colour options of black, green, orange, sand, and silver. It will be a dual-tone finish on both phones with the camera bump in black colour.

Google will debut its custom Tensor chip on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. It will boast ML and AI features and help boost the Pixel 6’s camera capabilities.

The Pixel 6 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 6 will have a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The Pixel 6 Pro will house a triple rear camera setup with a wide angle sensor, an ultrawide and a telephoto lens with 4X optical zoom. The Pixel 6 will house a primary and ultra wide cameras on the back.

Both phones will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As per rumours, the Pixel 6 Pro could pack a 5,000mAh battery, and the Pixel 6 a 4,614mAh battery.

The Pixel 6 Pro is expected to come with 12GB of RAM and three storage options of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. The Pixel 6 is said to pack 8GB of RAM and 128GB and 256GB of storage options.
