Xiaomi today announced the launch of the Redmi Note 9, the company’s latest budget offering in its Redmi Note 9 series. The company has earlier launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.The Redmi Note 9 has been placed below the two devices and is the first Redmi Note device with a MediaTek chipset. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro will be available in a flash sale on July 21 from Amazon India, Xiaomi online store, and Mi Home stores in Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black color options.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro in terms of design. The major difference is in terms of the fingerprint sensor. While the Redmi Note 9 features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, the Redmi Note 9 Pro features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Apart from this, the notch on the Redmi Note 9 has been placed on the left side.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a 60Hz refresh rate.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a slightly bigger 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) pixels resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a 60Hz refresh rate.
