Here are the new features on the OnePlus 8T
The biggest upgrade that the OnePlus 8T offers over the OnePlus 8 is the display. OnePlus has used a 120Hz Fluid AMOLED panel, which is an upgrade over the 90Hz panel in the OnePlus 8. This should ensure that the user experience is super smooth across the board, offering a fluid experience that you would expect from a flagship smartphone.
Next up is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, which is the latest high-end chipset from Qualcomm. This is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, both of which use the fastest technology currently available.
Superfast charging for when you’re in a hurry
Another major upgrade is in terms of charging. The OnePlus 8T supports 65W fast charging, which promises to fully charge the OnePlus 8T in just 39 minutes.
OnePlus has achieved this by using two battery cells instead of just one. This allows OnePlus to charge both the cells at full speed, which doubles up the speed of charging without generating any excess heat.
Cameras get an upgrade as well
The OnePlus 8T also sports better cameras when compared to the OnePlus 8. It sports a quad camera system. Here’s what you get: 48MP camera with optical image stabilization, 16MP ultrawide angle camera, a 5MP macro camera for those extreme close-up shots and a 2MP monochrome lens.
On the front, the OnePlus 8T has a 16MP camera for selfies and video calling.
New and improved software experience
In addition to some important hardware upgrades, the OnePlus 8T also comes with a fresh new and improved software experience – OxygenOS 11.
This new version of OnePlus’ custom software comes with several new features. These include Zen Mode 2.0, Bitmoji always-on display, a document scanning feature and more. Apart from this, OnePlus has also brought many improvements to the design to make it easier to use the phone with a single hand.
