Samsung is taking on the reigning smartphone leader OnePlus with its ‘Lite’ versions of the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note 10. They offer a premium high-end experience without burning a hole in your pocket - something that is right up OnePlus’ alley.This mix of ‘premium-affordability’ has worked wonders for OnePlus. Currently, it is the leader in the premium smartphone segment in India with a share of 42%. That is twice as much as Samsung which has been losing its edge to Chinese smartphone makers like Xiaomi, OnePlus and Vivo.
Premium Samsung experience at a fraction of the price
Samsung’s flagship smartphones are well known for offering a premium, without compromising on experience. The phones have a stunning display, great cameras, good design and performance. But they also cost a lot more.
With the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Note 10 Lite, Samsung is trying to offer the same premium experience that its flagships are known for, but at a fraction of the original price. The Lite versions cost 40-45% less than the originals

Galaxy S10 Lite vs OnePlus 7T: Design
Both the Galaxy S10 Lite and the OnePlus 7T keep things simple when it comes to the design. You get thin bezels and big displays on the front, while the back of the phone is mostly bare, except for the giant camera modules.
While there’s no objective difference between both smartphones, the OnePlus 7T edges past the Galaxy S10 Lite because its camera module looks better.

Both the smartphones are filled to the brim with features. You get triple rear cameras, the same processor, a ton of memory and storage etc., so it’s hard to arrive at a winner again.
The Galaxy S10 Lite has a bigger display and its notch is less intrusive than the OnePlus 7T’s. However, the OnePlus 7T has a smoother display, which is more important at the end of the day.
The Galaxy S10 Lite gains points for having a much bigger battery than the OnePlus 7T. It should also offer good photography experience given Samsung’s history of offering a much better smartphone photography experience.

The OnePlus 7T however wins when it comes to value for money. At its effective price of ₹33,499 you get to experience most of the premium flagship features without paying that little extra.
