How to add birthday calendar in Google Calendar
You can enable birthday calendar in Google Calendar that will show you the birthdays of your contacts and others.
- To begin, Open Google Calendar and sign in with the account that you use on your phone.
- On the top left corner, click on the menu button (hamburger icon).
- Select the ‘My Calendars’ dropdown arrow to expand this section.
- Now, select the birthdays calendar to enable it.
- Now, the birthdays from your contacts will show up in Google Calendar.
How to add birthdays to your contacts
Once you enable birthday calendar in your Google Calendar, the birthdays of your contacts will be visible in your calendar. You can follow the below steps to add birthdays to your contacts:
- Open the Google Contacts app on your smartphone.
- Now, search for the contact in which you want to add a birthday.
- Click on the Edit button (Pencil icon) at the top right corner.
- Now, tap the ‘More fields’ option at the bottom and look for the birthday option.
- Enter the birthday of the contact.
- You also have the option to include or exclude the birth year of the contact.
- Now, the birthday will be shown in your Google Calendar.
