How to transfer Google Photos from one account to another account

There may come a time when you may want to transfer all your Google Photos from one account to another. In this post, we will show you two methods using which you can easily transfer your Google Photos from one account to another.

How to transfer Google Photos from one account to another

Method 1: Manual Transfer for Google photos

  • On your computer, open a browser.
  • Now, go to Google Photos website and log in to your first account.
  • Click on the first picture and scroll down till the end.
  • Now, hold ‘Shift’ and click on the last picture. All the pictures will get selected.
  • Now, click on the overflow button (three dots) at the top right corner and click on ‘Download’.
  • Now, sign out and log in using your second Google account.
  • Click on ‘Upload’ and select all the photos.
  • Wait for a while and the photos will be uploaded.
Method 2: Add Partner Account for transfer Google photos

  • On your phone, open the Google Photos app.
  • At the top left corner, click on the three bars icon and select ‘Settings’.
  • Now, tap on ‘Shared Libraries’ and click on ‘Get Started’.
  • Enter the email address of your second account and select ‘All Photos’.
  • Now, click on ‘Send Invitation’.
  • Then, use your second account to accept invitation.
  • Now, click on the ‘Sharing’ tab at the bottom left corner.
  • Select the library of the first account and tap the overflow button (three dots).
  • Now, select ‘Settings’ and tap on ‘Save to your library’ and choose ‘All Photos’.
Method 3: Use Shared Albums

  • On your phone, open the Google Photos app.
  • At the bottom, select the ‘Albums’ tab.
  • Now, open the album you want to transfer and tap on the ‘Share’ button at the top.
  • Enter the email address with which you want to share the album and tap on ‘Send’.
  • Open Google Photos on the second account and go to ‘Sharing’ section.
  • Select the photos and tap on the ‘Add to library’ icon at the top.
