How to
Move to iOS app
The easiest way to transfer your contacts is to use Apple’s Move to iOS app, available in the Google Play Store. It has been developed to help Android users to easily shift to an iPhone. It helps users to transfer their photos, contacts, messages and other data to their iPhone easily over a Wi-Fi network.
- Set up your iPhone until you reach the ‘Apps and Data’ screen.
- Now, tap on the ‘Move data from Android’ option.
- On your Android device, open the Google Play Store and download the Move to iOS app.
- Open the app and accept the required permission requests.
- Tap on continue, then click on ‘Agree and next’ on your Android device.
- Tap continue on the iPhone and you will see a 12-digit code.
- Enter this code on your Android device.
- You will then be asked to select the data that you want to transfer to your iPhone.
- Now, tap on ‘Continue setting up iPhone’.
Your data is now transferred and you will be prompted to login to your Google account on the iPhone.
Google Sync
You can also use your Google account to transfer the contacts from your Android device to the iPhone.
- On your Android device, go to Settings > Accounts > Google and make sure sync is turned on for contacts.
- Now, add the Google account to your iPhone.
- Now, on your iPhone, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts and tap the Gmail account.
- Now, turn on sync for Contacts.
