How to move contacts from Android to iPhone

Move to iOS app

The easiest way to transfer your contacts is to use Apple’s Move to iOS app, available in the Google Play Store. It has been developed to help Android users to easily shift to an iPhone. It helps users to transfer their photos, contacts, messages and other data to their iPhone easily over a Wi-Fi network.

  • Set up your iPhone until you reach the ‘Apps and Data’ screen.
  • Now, tap on the ‘Move data from Android’ option.
  • On your Android device, open the Google Play Store and download the Move to iOS app.
  • Open the app and accept the required permission requests.
  • Tap on continue, then click on ‘Agree and next’ on your Android device.
  • Tap continue on the iPhone and you will see a 12-digit code.
  • Enter this code on your Android device.
  • You will then be asked to select the data that you want to transfer to your iPhone.
  • Now, tap on ‘Continue setting up iPhone’.

Your data is now transferred and you will be prompted to login to your Google account on the iPhone.
