How to delete your Google Play Store history from your Android phone and speed up the app
- You can delete your Google Play history at any time, which will remove all of your past searches, and free up space on your phone.
- To delete your Google Play search history, you'll need to access the app's settings menu and clear your local history.
The Google Play Store has the ability to remember what apps you search for, which can be handy when searching for updates or checking in on a soon-to-launch app.
But if you're constantly searching for new apps, the Google Play Store's long memory can be annoying, as it'll start to slow down your searches. That's especially true if your phone isn't brand new. You may also want to keep your app searches private, which the saved search feature doesn't help with.
But if you want to delete your Google Play history, it's about as simple as deleting the search history in your internet browser. Here's how to do it.
