Sometimes it becomes necessary to change your email address. Maybe you used your work email for a long time, but have since left the job and need to change it. Maybe you've been using the same embarrassing email handle since middle school.

Regardless of the reason, changing your primary email on all your different accounts can come with a lot of headaches.

At the very least, there are some sites and services that make it very easy to change your email, and Apple's iCloud service is one of them.

Your iCloud email is linked to your Apple ID account on all your devices. So if you want to change your iCloud email, you have to change the email associated with your Apple ID. If your Apple ID email is an @icloud.com address, then you cannot change it — however, you can add up to three secondary email addresses to your account.
