Bumble changed the face of dating apps when it came out in 2014, with its signature rule that in any heterosexual pairing, the woman gets to make the first move. Due to the mass migration this caused, plus other apps coming on to the scene, there is now a sort of informal distinction among dating apps - with Bumble often being seen as the app you use when you want to find a real relationship.

As such, it makes sense that Bumble Boost, the less expensive of the two Bumble upgrades, draws customers the way it does - people who are truly serious about starting a relationship are far more likely to pay for features that help them match with people faster.

Bumble Boost offers a paid trial option where users can pay $7.99 to try the service for just a week before deciding if they want to pay $14.99 for the full month. Still, some users who get Bumble Boost decide after a while that it's not worth it - and, given its purpose, one would hope that even users who love it will also have to cancel eventually.

Here's how to cancel Bumble Boost if you decide it's not for you - or if you've just found a good match and don't need it anymore.
