Here's the Samsung Galaxy Note 7
This is the new Galaxy Note 7 from Samsung, and it's gorgeous.
It'll come in three different colors, including black, gold, and a new light blue option Samsung calls "coral blue," which has a metal rose gold border.
Like the Galaxy S7 Edge, the Note 7's front and back edges are curved.
The Note 7 has all the makings of a great Galaxy Note phone, like its large 1440p 5.7-inch AMOLED screen, a powerful quad-core processor, and 4GB of RAM, which should run apps and games very smoothly.
And of course, it comes with the S Pen stylus, which has a thinner nib than any previous S Pen and makes for more accurate taps. You can also hover above the screen to magnify anything on the screen or translate any text.
But Samsung has added a new iris scanner that scans your eyes with an infrared sensor around the front-facing camera. We tried it, and it's insanely quick. It unlocks the phone just as fast as using the fingerprint scanner.
It'll work even with glasses, but you'll need to take off sunglasses if you're wearing any.
Samsung gave the Note 7 the same water-resistance as the S7 line, which means it can go under five feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
And that's with or without the S Pen in its housing.
And you can even write notes when the screen is wet, too. And just like the Galaxy Note 5, you can also write notes without waking the screen.
And it's also the first phone from Samsung to come with USB-C for charging and connecting to your computer. Note that Samsung hasn't ditched the headphone jack!
Samsung also gave the Note 7 the very same 12-megapixel camera as the S7 line, which is still the best smartphone camera we've tested to date, especially in low-light environments.

The Galaxy Note 7 will have 64GB of built-in storage, which you'll be able to expand up to 256GB with a microSD card.
Pre-orders for the new Galaxy Note 7 will start on August 3, and it will be released on August 19.
