Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is all set to enter the tablet market in the country and take on existing players such as Samsung, Realme and Xiaomi. The company is expected to launch a tablet dubbed as OnePlus Pad in India soon.There have been several leaks about the OnePlus Pad already, including a leak that revealed the expected price and some key specifications of the device. Tipster Max Jambor has now shared a tweet that hints that the launch of the OnePlus Pad in India is imminent.
OnePlus Pad expected price
According to a report, the OnePlus Pad is expected to be priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. ₹34,440 approx.). This means that the tablet from OnePlus will be priced below ₹35,000. At the moment, there is no information about the availability of the OnePlus Pad.
OnePlus Pad expected specifications
The OnePlus Pad is expected to feature a run on Android 12 out of the box with the company’s OxygenOS skin on top. The tablet is expected to feature a 12.4-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The OnePlus Pad is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 865. The leaked variant features 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, but we expected to see more than one variant from the company in India.

The OnePlus Pad is expected to be powered by a 10,090mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It is also expected to come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Can it take on Xiaomi?
The OnePlus Pad’s launch comes soon after the Xiaomi Pad 5 was introduced in the country. The Xiaomi Pad 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 860 chipset and is priced starting at ₹26,999 in India.
Looking at the leaks, it may be a bit difficult for OnePlus to take on Xiaomi considering the two devices offer similar chipsets and the price difference is huge.
