Design and display
The Boult Crown R Pro comes with a circular dial with a zinc alloy metallic frame. The smartwatch is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
It comes with a rotating crown and a button on the right side, allowing you to easily navigate and select options in menus. You can also use the crown to easily switch between different watch faces. Apart from this, the watch does not feature any buttons, and you will have to perform all actions using the display.
The watch comes with two strap options – nylon and metallic. I tested the metallic strap option.
The metallic strap is well designed and is comfortable even for people with large hands. If you have small hands, you can adjust it to fit your hands. The strap is comfortable to use, even for extended durations.

At the back, the watch features a plastic case that houses all the sensors and the magnetic pins for the charger.
Coming to the display, the watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED always-on display with 600 nits brightness. The watch supports over 150 watch faces, allowing you to set it as per your preference.
The display responds quickly to touch and is bright, even under direct sunlight. It does not offer automatic brightness so you will have to adjust the brightness level yourself.
Features and performance
The Boult Crown is equipped with a heart rate monitor, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor, sleep monitor, activity tracker and more.

The smartwatch also comes with an in-built microphone and a speaker, allowing you to answer calls right from your smartwatch. In addition to offering continuous heart rate tracking, sleep tracking and blood oxygen saturation, the smartwatch also offers blood pressure monitoring.
It offers several sports modes, allowing you to track your workouts and activities easily.
Starting with the health and activity tracking, I compared the numbers on the Boult Crown R Pro with other smartwatches and a certified pulse oximeter to find out if there were any deviations.
Being an affordable watch, I expected some deviation in the numbers and as expected, there were small deviations in heart rate tracking. Similarly, the SpO2 levels deviated by 1-2 points.

Battery life
Coming to battery life, the company claims that the smartwatch offers up to 5 days of battery life on a single charge. During my usage, I found that the battery lasts for a little over three days on a single charge with regular activity tracking and health monitoring.
Verdict
The Boult Crown R Pro is an affordable smartwatch and is accurate enough for beginners looking to keep a track of their workouts. It offers the basic features you may look for in a smartwatch such as heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking and activity tracking.
If you are in the market for a smartwatch under ₹3,000, the Boult Crown R Pro is a decent option.
