ASUS finally brings its ROG XG Mobile eGPU in India starting at ₹69,990

ASUS has now launched the ROG XG Mobile eGPU in India that is specially made to work with the ASUS ROG Flow X13 laptop. XG Mobile is an external GPU that can turn the compact ROG Flow X13 into a top-notch gaming laptop.

ASUS is launching two variants of the XG Mobile eGPU in India — XG Mobile eGPU (GC31R): RTX3070-8GB and XG Mobile eGPU (GC31S): RTX3080-16GB. The XG Mobile RTX3070-8GB variant is priced at ₹69,990 while the RTX3080-16GB will cost you ₹1,39,990.

It is a one-of-a-kind accessory for graphics that comes with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 GPU clocking up to 1810MHz. Unlike other external GPUs by ASUS, the XG Mobile works exclusively with the ROG Flow X13 laptop. What’s unique about the XG Mobile is the compact design that makes it easy to carry around with the laptop, and turn it into a proper gaming machine without making it bulky.

The ROG X13 laptop is a 2-in-1 device that runs on AMD Ryzen 9 processor. It was launched globally in February this year, while in India, the laptop was launched in May and the XG Mobile launched today. The addition of XG Mobile to the laptop will boost the speed and make it a gaming beast. The eGPU not only improves gaming performance but also the overall performance of the laptop.

The unit comes with a built-in adapter that can power both the eGPU and the laptop. The XG Mobile consumes 150W power to deliver its full potential.

The eGPU can be unplugged when not in use and it is easily portable along with the laptop because of its compact and lightweight form factor. The Flow X13 laptop and the XG Mobile weigh 2.3kg in total, which is lighter than many gaming laptops.
