Waffle is a new word game that takes Wordle to the next level

Wordle has become one of the most popular games this year and you don’t need a powerful device or a console to play the game. The word game took the internet by storm and became so popular that the New York Times acquired it in a 7-figure deal.

If you are a Wordle fan and are looking to take it to the next level, then look no further. After several spinoffs, a new game dubbed as Waffle is here. The game was created by James Robinson.

The game was announced in February, and Robinson mentioned that the game is called waffle because the shape is similar to a waffle.

What is Waffle?

Waffle is a word game and unlike Wordle, where you get six chances to guess a single, you have to guess six words in Waffle. The game offers green, yellow and white words in the grid and you can swap the words to make six words. You get 15 chances to swap the words. As per the website, every Waffle can be solved in 10 chances.

The tiles that are green indicate that they are in the correct position. The yellow tiles indicate that they are part of the word but need to be placed in a different position. The white tiles do not belong in that word and need to be replaced.

The game finishes when you place all the tiles correctly or when you exhaust your chances. Like Wordle, the game resets every 24 hours and you can play the game only once during the day.
