Steps to manually update the Zoom app installed on your desktop
Start your Mac or PC on which the Zoom app is installed. Open the Zoom app.
In the top right corner of the main page, click on your profile picture. If you have not uploaded your photo, you will see your initial displayed inside a colored square box.
A drop-down menu will appear, then select ‘check for updates’. If the Zoom app is up-to-date on your computer, a pop up will let you know it. If there are any updates due to be installed, Zoom will automatically begin the download and installation process of the said update. When the update is in progress, you will not be able to start or join calls.
Once the update is over, you will see a pop up informing you ‘You are up to date’ along with the serial number of the said update. Click on ‘Done’, and now the Zoom app on your computer is up-to-date.
