Battlegrounds Mobile India Lite app may come soon, Krafton asks players why they want it

In what could be exciting news for PUBG Mobile Lite fans and low-end smartphone users, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) developer may be working on a BGMI Lite app.According to a Sportskeeda report, Krafton started a poll in the official Battlegrounds Mobile India Discord channel, asking users why they needed or wanted the BGMI Lite version.
To recall, prior to its ban in India, PUBG Mobile had a lite version, dubbed as PUBG Mobile Lite. PUBG Mobile Lite was popular among players with low-end devices as it was designed to run smoothly on devices with less powerful hardware.
The poll, which has been removed now had the following options –
- I can’t play BGMI on my low-end device.
- I can play BGMI, but I’ll have better frame rates and performance in the Lite version on my device.
- I spent money on the LITE version and want to transfer my data/inventory.
- I like the maps and skins in the LITE version.

At the time the image was taken, the first option that users cannot play BGMI on their device had the most votes.
Krafton has not made any announcements regarding the Lite version of Battlegrounds Mobile India. However, this poll on the official Discord server indicates that they are considering launching the game soon.
Gamers like Maxtern have hinted that the BGMI Lite version is in the works already and may be launched soon. Ghatak, one of the popular gamers, has said that the BGMI Lite version may launch by the end of next month.
Krafton had recently launched PUBG: New State battle royale game. It is a futuristic battle royale game and is set in 2051. The game currently offers three maps – Troi, Erangel 2051, Station (Beta).
