Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS version is now available for download

Battlegrounds Mobile India for iOS is finally available for download. The highly anticipated iOS release has been rumoured for a long time now, and BGMI fans with iPhones and iPads can finally download it on their devices.

A previous report had suggested that the BGMI iOS release is expected on August 20, but the official release ended up happening two days earlier. Krafton had also teased the launch of the game on its Facebook page.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is an India-specific version of PUBG Mobile, which was banned in India along with dozens of other Chinese apps and games.

It was also expected that Krafton would release the game in beta to select users, but as of now, users can download it without enrolling in the beta channel.

BGMI iOS – download and minimum requirements

Battlegrounds Mobile India for iOS can be downloaded on iPhones and iPads from the App Store here.

Krafton has listed the following minimum requirements for the BGMI iOS version:

• iPhone: iOS 11 or later.
• iPad: iOS 11 or later.
• Download size: 1.9GB.

Apart from this, Krafton has also announced that there will be a maintenance break for the authentication system for iOS. What this means is that players with their accounts linked to Apple ID will not be able to login to the game.

BGMI milestone rewards

Krafton also announced Battlegrounds Mobile India milestone rewards for users on crossing the 50 million downloads number. Here’s what users can get:

• 48 million downloads – three supply crate coupons
• 49 million downloads – three classic crate coupons
• 50 million downloads – permanent galaxy messenger set

To claim these rewards, follow these steps:

• Open BGMI and go to Lobby.
• Click on the Events section.
• Now, click on the Milestone event to get your free reward.
