As per a report by InsideSport, the
Battlegrounds Mobile India is an India-specific version of PUBG Mobile, which was banned in India along with dozens of other Chinese apps and games.
It is expected that the beta version of the game will first be available for select users and a stable version will be launched after that. We expect Krafton will offer similar rewards to iOS users that were earlier given to Android users.
Krafton had earlier teased the iOS launch on Instagram with the caption, “We thought you missed it earlier. So, just wanted to let you know.” The question mark in the image includes the Apple logo at the bottom.
The age restrictions announced by Krafton for Android users are expected to be applicable for iOS users as well.
Battlegrounds Mobile India restrictions for minors
Krafton has announced some specific restrictions for minors – those below 18 years of age.
- Minors will have to provide the phone number of their parents or guardian to play the game.
- Minors will only be able to play the game for a maximum of 3 hours a day.
- The maximum amount that can be spent in the game will be limited to ₹7,000 per day.
