Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS version expected to launch on August 20

• Krafton has started teasing the launch of the iOS version of the game.

Battlegrounds Mobile India, the popular battle royale game will finally be available for iOS users from August 20 as per a report. The game was launched for Android users earlier last month.

As per a report by InsideSport, the Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS version launch date was first spotted on the company’s official website. Krafton has also teased the launch of the game on its Facebook page.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is an India-specific version of PUBG Mobile, which was banned in India along with dozens of other Chinese apps and games.


It is expected that the beta version of the game will first be available for select users and a stable version will be launched after that. We expect Krafton will offer similar rewards to iOS users that were earlier given to Android users.

Krafton had earlier teased the iOS launch on Instagram with the caption, “We thought you missed it earlier. So, just wanted to let you know.” The question mark in the image includes the Apple logo at the bottom.

The age restrictions announced by Krafton for Android users are expected to be applicable for iOS users as well.

Battlegrounds Mobile India restrictions for minors

Krafton has announced some specific restrictions for minors – those below 18 years of age.

• Minors will have to provide the phone number of their parents or guardian to play the game.
  
• Minors will only be able to play the game for a maximum of 3 hours a day.
  
• The maximum amount that can be spent in the game will be limited to ₹7,000 per day.
