Battlegrounds Mobile India beta is now available for download, with early access rolling out to select users. If you had registered earlier, it might be worth checking out the app’s listing on the Play Store.

Krafton, the game’s developer, has added prompts asking users if they are over 18 years old and located in India. The game also states that all the data is stored in India.

How to register for Battlegrounds Mobile India beta?

The Battleground Mobile India beta version download weighs a little above 700MB. If you want to get in and test the beta version, join the waitlist here.

The early access is currently limited only to a few players, based on whatever we’ve seen on social media. Some users have also reported download and internal server errors.

Special rewards for players who pre-register

To entice PUBG fans and players, Krafton has announced special rewards for those who pre-register for the game. The company has noted that these rewards will be specific to Indian users only.

While it did not specify what these rewards are, Krafton said that the game will be free to play on mobile devices – both iOS and Android.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is expected to offer the same game modes as PUBG Mobile, including battle royale, team deathmatch, war and more.

Battlegrounds Mobile India launch date

Earlier last week, the game’s developer Krafton had posted a teaser, possibly hinting that Battlegrounds Mobile India launch date could be June 18.

In the teaser, the company said, “We know you've been waiting for us for a long time. We're super excited for the biggest drop of the year! Guess the date and let us know in the comments below.”

The teaser has images of a measurement tool and as per the combination of numbers, players have guessed that the game could be launched on June 18.

How to pre-register for Battlegrounds Mobile India?

Battlegrounds Mobile India will be available for pre-registration on Android devices.

To pre-register, go to the Google Play store, search for the game and tap on the “Pre-register” button.

Battlegrounds Mobile India restrictions for minors

Krafton has announced some specific restrictions for minors – those below 18 years of age.

• Minors will have to provide the phone number of their parents or guardian to play the game.
• Minors will only be able to play the game for a maximum of 3 hours a day.
• The maximum amount that can be spent in the game will be limited to ₹7,000 per day.
