Transfer using Move to iOS app

  • Download the Move to iOS app on your Android smartphone.
  • Open the app and enter the code shown on your Android smartphone.
  • Now, tap ‘Continue’. Then, select ‘WhatsApp’ on the data transfer screen.
  • Tap ‘Start’ and then tap on ‘Next’ once the data is prepared.
  • Now, tap on ‘Continue’ and wait for the transfer to finish.
  • Install the latest version of WhatsApp on your iPhone and login with the same number.
  • Tap ‘Start’ and finish the process. Your messages will be transferred to your iPhone.
Transfer using dr.fone

  • To begin, download the dr.fone tool on your computer.
  • Now, connect your Android device and iPhone to the computer.
  • Open the dr.fone tool and tap on ‘Restore social app’.
  • Select ‘WhatsApp’ and click on ‘Transfer WhatsApp messages’.
  • The app will now connect to both your phones and show the two devices on the screen.
  • Click the ‘Transfer’ button at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Transfer using email

You can also transfer your WhatsApp messages from Android to iPhone using email. However, this is a tedious process as you can transfer only one chat at once.

  • Click on ‘Chats’ and then select ‘Chat history’.
  • Click on ‘Export Chat’ and select the contact whose chat you want to transfer.
  • Now, you can select whether you want to include the media in the backup or not.
  • Select Gmail and enter the recipient email address. You can use your own email address here.
  • Tap send and restore this message in your iPhone.
