Now here's the kicker: It costs $999.

There's no headphone jack. You need to use Lightning headphones or Bluetooth headphones.

It has wireless charging, just like the iPhone 8.

But the camera is ginormous. It bulges from the back of the phone.

The rear cameras take excellent photos. They're slightly better than the iPhone 8 Plus cameras.

Most apps don't look great on the new screen size and shape. It'll be a few months before they change up their designs.

TrueDepth can also track face gestures. Apple built a group of Animoji that record your movements and voice.

TrueDepth also enables cool tricks like augmented reality. Snapchat built some new, realistic lenses for it.

The TrueDepth camera lets you unlock the phone with Face ID facial recognition. It replaces Touch ID, the fingerprint sensor system from older iPhones.

There's a notch at the top of the screen, which houses the new TrueDepth camera system.

There's no home button. Instead, you swipe up from the bottom of the display to go to the home screen.

Apple calls it the Super Retina Display. It's gorgeous.

The screen is made using OLED technology, which has better color representation. It's also sharper than older iPhone displays.

The screen is the perfect size though. It's larger than the Plus screen, but crammed onto a body that's only a little larger than the 8.
