Tech stocks took a huge hit when the market plunged on Monday

The Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted to a record 1,117 points on Monday and tech stocks took a massive hit. As this chart by Statista shows, the market's historic dive had a damaging effect on some of the tech sector's most sterling companies as well. Among the stocks that traders were selling off at a rapid pace were Alphabet, Facebook, and Netflix.
