Now, Swift is stepping in to help in the fight by donating $50,000 to the girl's medical expenses.

In June, Naomi Oakes was diagnosed with Myeloid Lukemia. She is currently undergoing treatment and will have to remain in the hospital for up to nine months.

That means Oakes won't be able to attend Swift's concert in August, to which she received tickets as a Christmas gift.

Swift noticed Oakes after her family posted a video to YouTube entitled, "Naomi's Bad Blood" which explains the girl's diagnosis and how Swift's "Bad Blood" has become her "fight song" throughout the treatment process. The family hoped the video would attract Swift's attention and help publicize their fundraising efforts on social media for #TeamNaomi.

Swift made several donations to the family's Go Fund Me page, totalling $50,000. She also included a heartfelt message to her sick fan.

"To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I'm sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let's focus on getting you feeling better. I'm sending the biggest hugs to you and your family," Swift wrote with her donation.

When Oakes found out what her favorite singer had done, she reacted as any 11-year-old Swift fan might. The girl was all smiles in a video her family shared on YouTube.

"I can barely breathe ... I seriously think I'm going to pass out right now" said Oakes as she read the message from Swift.

Swift is known for her random acts of kindness. Earlier in 2015, she helped a fan pay her student loans, sending the fan a check for $1,989 in honor of her latest album, along with many other random acts of kindness.
