Tata Industries removes Cyrus Mistry as Director

Amid the clamour to remove Cyrus Mistry from boards of Tata group companies grew, Tata Industries removed him as director at the EGM.

Tata Sons has made several appeals to companies to remove Mistry as director, saying his presence will lead to fragmentation of the Tata Group.

The tussle between Mistry and Tatas continues and many letters have been publicised, in which both the parties has levelled charges against each other.

Meanwhile, Mistry has defended his case many a times, giving out reasons on why he should not be sacked.
