Tamasha trailer out, promises a rollercoaster ride of emotions

There has been quite some buzz about Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha, with claims of some parts being reshot and then the infamous video of Ranbir being mocked at for his lack of knowledge about social media, though he managed to counteract that later in an exceptionally smart video.

A few days back, we showed you some photos of the lead couple, having fun in some exotic locations around the world, hinting at the extravagant fun that Tamasha is going to be.

However, what we really wanted was the official trailer of the movie, because the story was intriguing, but we had no clue about how Imtiaz Ali would take us on a rollercoaster ride this time around, after he managed to do so in Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar and Highway earlier. All these movies, though completely different from each other, presented us with a different form of love; an unseen, unheard type of love.

The wait is finally over, and we have the official first look of the movie, and dare we say that Imtiaz Ali is a genius.



The trailer makes us meet Ved Vardhan Sahni, a Marketing Manager in an MNC, but is a storyteller by passion, who heads to Corsica, Italy where he meets Tara, another storyteller. They both start doing shows together while travelling the world, but on a strange condition that everything that they would tell about each other would be a lie. The expected happens soon after when Tara falls for Ved, but he repulses from her feelings.

What happens next is what we would watch the movie for, but till then, kudos Imtiaz, and well done, S. Ravi Varman, the cinematographer.
