  • Taco Bell may begin to offer french fries across its United States locations, according to a tweet the fast-food chain sent to Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus.
  • The chain serves french fries at many of its international locations, but has resisted serving them on a wide scale in the United States.
  • Recently, it's been testing them in California and West Virginia.

Taco Bell has had no shortage of unconventional ideas in recent months, from quesadillas filled with Kit Kats to a clothing line collaboration with Forever 21. But the chain has resisted making one of its customers most persistent requests a permanent item: french fries.

Hoppus praised Taco Bell but bemoaned its lack of french fries in an October 29 tweet, to which Taco Bell replied, "That just might change soon, Mark.

" on October 31.

The chain has sold loaded fries at its international locations for years, but has yet to introduce them on a wide scale in the United States. Recently, it began testing them in California and West Virginia, though one of our readers had mixed feelings about them.
