Stocks Are Tumbling As Hopes For Easy Deal Fade Again

Stocks are in the red during the first few minutes of trading.

"House conservatives are signaling their disapproval of a possible Senate deal that would reopen the government and raise the debt ceiling, providing expected complications just two days ahead of a Thursday deadline to raise the nation's borrowing limit," reports BI's Brett Logiurato.

The government is currently in day 15 of shutdown.
