Stocks Are Surging After The Long Weekend
Google FinanceInvestors and traders are back from their three-day weekends, and they're bidding stock prices higher.
The S&P 500 is up by 1.0%. The Dow is up 113 points, or about 0.7%.
This comes after a wave of international PMI reports signaled that the world economy was still growing.
Geopolitical concerns have also receded a bit as any military response on Syria seems be delayed at the least.
