Some important points to note:
- Stock market in India has its weekly holidays on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Some holidays in 2023 might fall on Saturday or Sunday. In this case, they do not add up to the number of holidays in the year.
- On Sunday, 12th November, the stock market will remain closed for Sunday as well as Diwali. However, in the evening, it will open for an exclusive Muhurat session on account of Diwali – Lakshmi puja.
