The Golden State Warriors are having a season for the ages.

With six games left in the regular season, the Golden State Warriors need five wins to become the first team in NBA history to win 73 games in the regular season, will likely finish 40-1 at home, have the NBA's best player in Stephen Curry, and actually have two candidates for NBA's Coach of the Year.

The Warriors are so good, in fact, that head coach Steve Kerr and assistant coach Luke Walton, who served in Kerr's absence to start the season, could both just decide to take some games off and the team would still keep winning.

Considering how spectacular Curry has been this season, Kerr isn't entirely off-base with his comments. Maybe he should give himself and Walton a night off, in the same way Gregg Popovich gives Spurs players games off right before the playoffs.Of course, Kerr himself deserves a ton of the praise for this historic season. But to fully understand the Warriors' success, you have to consider every facet of the organization, from the owners to the team's bodyguards.Kerr himself recognizes this."We're getting so much praise, our organization," Kerr told the Mercury News. "We deserve it. And we have wonderful people starting at the top with Rick and Joe Lacob and Bob Myers. Our coaching staff does a great job. Our entire organization does a great job. And you know what that would mean if we didn't have Draymond (Green), Steph (Curry), Andre (Iguodala), Klay (Thompson) and the rest of the guys? Nothing. Honestly. Literally, we are where we are because of our players."
