White House officials confirmed that Steve Bannon was dismissed from his job as President Donald Trump's Chief Strategist on Friday. Bannon, who helped run Trump's 2016 campaign, was ousted after clashing with members of Trump's family and other White House officials in recent weeks.

Trump's administration as a whole has been rocked by a series of high-profile exits since he took office in January, including former Press Secretary Sean Spicer, and former FBI Director James Comey.
